LEADERSHIP
At The OC, we believe in a true plurality of elders, in which, each ordained elder is a pastor of their specific house church, while also co-pastoring/shepherding Oikos, collectively, as a whole. Each pastor being truly equal to one another and fully capable of carrying on with the church alone, if need be, until God raises up more pastors.

Matt Johnson
As a native of Greenville, Pastor Matt married his wife Jessica in 2003. They have 6 children, 3 of which are adopted. Matt earned his degree in Theology from Omega Seminary. Matt works as a bi-vocational pastor where he also works with a local manufacturing plant. Matt has been involved in ministry work and Bible teaching since 2000 and has served the Body of Christ as an ordained pastor since 2013. He and Jessica have been trained in multiple church planting aspects, have previously been involved with house church, one-on-one street evangelism, street ministry and have been involved in missions in Latin America.
Pastor / Elder
D'Angelo Stanley
Pastor D'Angelo Stanley grew up in the D.C. area and also on the NC coast, in the small town of Shallotte. He and his wife, Kendrea, were married in 2024. Pastor D is bi-vocational and has been involved in church from his youth. While the journey had it's ups and downs, as we all go through, God led him to a place of discipleship with Pastor Matt for some years and now, by the grace of God, Holy Spirit has called D'Angelo to Co-pastor at The OC. He was ordained by the Oikos Church Eldership into pastoral ministry in 2023. Pastor D has been involved in street ministry, Bible teaching/preaching ministry, and recovery ministry.
